I have been a professional musician since 1987. Prior to becoming a musician, I completed a Bachelor of Education, graduating in 1986. In addition to my years of professional experience in playing and performing music, I have a deep understanding of teaching music.

Trombone, trumpet & euphonium (brass)

I play and teach trombone, trumpet and euphonium. I am based in Petersham and give private lessons in my area.

I can guide students through AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) exams, or I can focus lessons more around building a repertoire of music that is simply fun to play. I have an extensive background in jazz and improvised music. I can help students of any age or level to develop their skills in playing jazz and improvising.
